Common Troubleshooting
Data appears delayed
Border Wait displays data directly from CBP and CBSA. Updates depend on how frequently these agencies publish new information. Try pulling down to refresh manually. If data still seems stale, the border agency may not have published a recent update.
Some crossings show "Not Available"
This means the border agency is not currently providing public data for that crossing or lane type. This can happen if the crossing is closed, undergoing maintenance, or if the agency has temporarily suspended data reporting.
What does "Update Pending" mean?
This status indicates that the border agency has not published updated information recently. The crossing may be temporarily closed, experiencing technical difficulties, or awaiting a scheduled data update.
Refresh behavior
The app automatically refreshes data in the background at regular intervals. You can also manually refresh by pulling down on the screen. Auto-refresh timing is optimized to balance current data with network and battery efficiency.
App version
You can find your current app version in the iOS Settings app under Border Wait. Make sure you're running the latest version for the best experience.
